[Discuss] network admin (in-progress) needs help

i just want to let everyone know that, after some struggle, i got our dell
server co-operating with samba under CentOS and will be transferring
everything this evening.

thanks everyone, especially bill, for their help!

it seems this stuff really takes a lot of effort to learn. books seem
detached from what i'm trying to do, but all the errors (or a lot of them)
are addressed online. vive le internet!

it's nice to shoot this stuff past the local lug, though. it means a lot
that you cared to reply at all.
